2nd-grade classrooms have been collaborating with IU design students to bring inventions to life! Each class submitted the design for a "dream machine" to a team of IU students. They collaborated virtually (turns out 2nd graders are tough clients!) before seeing prototypes of their designs last week! Next step? The prototypes will be sent to a vocational program in Wisconsin to be fully fabricated. Even our youngest students are capable of the Design Process! Such a wonderful experience! A special thanks to Mrs. Anderson for coordinating this opportunity. And like those signs on stage? Designed and produced by our very own Miner Swag Shop!
